Well, we have a new addition to our family! Thank goodness it's just a fish! We've been playing an aquarium game on Facebook, and decided we really, really wanted a fish. After spending about an hour at Petco with my brother, Todd, and my nephew, Kai, Brad and I chose a male betta as our first pet. A few weeks have passed by, but we still don't have a name. I think we call him something new everyday. We'd love suggestions!
Ha...Zach just got a beta fish too. He promptly named his Oscar. He named his last fish Moose. Zach is now diligent about feeding Oscar every day and insisted that it be on his chore chart. The first day we got Oscar, Zach was begging to hold him. We had to have a frank little chat about how fish live and how fish die. Have a fish is so much more fun with a four year old. Miss you guys!
